What is a sound bath?

A Sound Bath provides a deeply immersive experience that utilizes intentional sound to promote relaxation and rejuvenation for the mind and body.

Participants typically begin by settling into a comfortable position, either lying down or seated, often with a blanket and eye mask for added comfort. Guided breathing exercises initiate the session, followed by a sequence of various sounds and frequencies produced by instruments such as tuning forks, gongs, shruti box, Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, chimes, and vocal tones. This blend of harmonic vibrations aims to create a therapeutic environment conducive to deep relaxation and inner balance.  Certain tones that trigger stress release, emotional release, and physical healing in the body. It's a new experience that will relax you and allow your body the peace it needs to heal. Sound baths last about 50 minutes.

What do I wear to a sound bath?

Wear normal comfortable clothes. We want you to be warm and comfortable so you can completely relax and melt away the stress of the day. Wear sweats, pajamas, or whatever you're most comfortable in. You will remove your shoes, get settled, and snuggle down and relax. The more physically relaxed you get the more your body will move into healing with sound therapy. So come in comfortable clothes.

 

What do I bring?

Bring a yoga mat, a blanket, and a pillow.
